Had an awesome time with my friends! The staff was super friendly and resolved an AC issue quickly. Breakfast was solid, and the location couldn’t be better—close to the train station and just a walk away from the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. Definitely a good deal for the price!

One downside was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work well. we had a hard time connecting during our stay, which was frustrating.

i had an amazing wedding celebration in florence, and st james truly exceeded my expectations. the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast spread was delicious. it was the perfect spot for exploring the city!

paint odor

poor service

i almost thought about giving this place a good review, but then i recalled the unpleasant paint odor in my room and that the elevator only works until 11pm. shocking, really. honestly, i would have appreciated a complimentary bottle of water as well, just a little something for all the trouble, right?

st. james was a fantastic place! the location is perfect, just 8 minutes from the central station, with beautiful parks and great restaurants close by. my room was spacious, with a comfy bed that made me feel right at home. also, the beautiful chinese receptionist provided exceptional service, which really stood out.
